Founded in 1982, SIP is a rapidly growing organization with the mission to create, improve opportunities, and promote recognition for Iranians from a wide range of disciplines and professions.

Our Objectives:

History of SIP

How did SIP get started? In March 1982 Saeed Nasiri presented his idea to create an organization for Iranian professionals to get together and exchange ideas and to do networking.

In April same year four individuals, Behdad Jafari, Farokh Mohamadi, Saeed Nasiri, and Saiid Rezvani worked on making this organization a reality.

In June they held SIP's first open meeting in Bold Knight Restaurant. November 1st, 1982 SIP was registered as a California Corporation.
